Ghadeer Qasr Al Sarab:
Offering icy treats to help you stay cool at this poolside bar, as well as popular grilled sandwiches and light meals on an adjoining terrace for casual outdoor dining. By night, the restaurant transforms into a romantic retreat, offering ethnic Mediterranean cuisine with influences from Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal. Ramadan is the Muslim festival of fasting and is the most important festival in the Islamic Calendar which is celebrated by Muslims all over the world. The sighting of the crescent moon signals the start of 30 days of fasting during which Muslims don't eat, drink or smoke during the day, eating all their meals before sunrise and after sunset. Non-muslims are obliged to respect this event and also not eat, drink or smoke in public during daylight hours. International hotels in Abu Dhabi will therefore serve food and drink restricted designated areas during this time. Restaurants and Caf¯ Shops outside hotels will be closed during day light hours whilst evening entertainment will be extremely low key with no loud music etc permitted.
